OKTOsounds collective presents a mini-festival day to start the second semester of its life as an artistic collective, consisting of sounds installations and visual works, continuing with four live concerts. All the artists involved in the event are part of the up-and-coming alternative art scene in Aarhus and Copenhaguen, presenting an original program of experimental music, electronic music, new jazz and African traditional drumming.

With this event, we mainly want to reach the openminded, young audience of Aarhus, people who are interested in different kinds of original art and of different cultures as well. With having various disciplines of art represented at this mini-festival, it is our goal to offer the visitors a diverse selection of different works in the fields of concerts, sound installations, and visual installations.

The visitors are creating an individual experience for themselves since they can choose what they want to see or listen to and when. At the A-huset venue, we will have the artworks running constantly in different places and separate small rooms of the venue, therefore the visitors can choose to walk around during or in between the concerts.
